GardenMasters is a landscape company located in Redlands California.  Our specialty is in the area of residential landscaping.  GardenMasters has been in business since 1984 as a landscape maintenance company, which developed into a landscape construction company in 1988.  Our strong points are irrigation and drainage systems.  Our Irrigation systems are designed to meet the needs of the individual plants water usage.

Background

1974 Performed landscape maintenance at the Redlands Swim & Tennis Club which soon developed into my own maintenance business during high school. 

1977-1981 During college several landscape partners helped increase the company size to 70 clients or more.

1984 The business became known as GardenMasters and soon developed into a crew with two trucks and trailers.    

1985 Owner stopped the maintenance business to become an engineer for Rockwell International in the Laser Systems Group.

1988 Owner obtained a Landscape Contractor Lic (C-27) and began a second job landscaping in the Redlands area as GardenMasters

1991 Left Rockwell and went to work for Hunter Engineering Company as a proposal engineer.  Still landscaping as a second job.

1998 The owner left the engineering field to pursue full-time landscaping opportunities under GardenMasters name.
